Tip Of
The Month
Help Your Body
Bloom
Planting some seeds of change is something to think about
isn’t it. We are supposed to treat our bodies as temples but
somehow we seem to get lost doing it. Here are a few ideas
that might help you to get on track or stay on track in
accomplishing this.
Firstly, don’t let the media brainwash you into believing you
need to starve yourself to look good. You do need to eat. You
just don’t need to eat for an army of five at one setting. Too
many commercials talk about how good the food tastes but what
you need to do is take account of how you feel after you eat.
Your new motto should be “nothing tastes as good as feeling
healthy.”
Secondly, you need to drink a lot of water. About half your
weight in ounces per day. If you weigh one hundred pounds then
fifty ounces of water per day. Water is a true fountain of
youth. It not only flushes out body toxins, but drinking lots
of water keeps your skin supple and hydrated, not to mention
how much it helps your organs and your organs need all the
love, water, and nourishment you can handle.
Third, exercise. Moderate exercise is an absolute must.
Without exercise your body gets sluggish and loses much needed
energy.
Fourth, don’t forget your mental health. A little yoga never
hurt anyone. If you can’t do yoga try meditation. If you can’t
do meditation then try going to a quiet place and just relax
your mind. You’ll be amazed how refreshing that can be.
And lastly, stay positive. Even though the economy is full of
negative things, try to stay within yourself and think
positive thoughts. It’s a fact that positive thoughts attract
positive actions and positive actions attract positive
results.
Remember: As Jim Rohan said “Take care of your body. It’s the
only place you have to live.”
