The benefits of
proper breathing...
The benefits of proper breathing are many. To breath properly
one must practice good posture and take in deep breaths
through their nose and expel the air using the diaphragm to
push it out. Sounds simple doesn’t it?
Unfortunately too many people are not living with full breath
potential. Too many times we allow stress to overtake our
lives. And when this happens not only do our shoulders come up
and tense but our chest tightens and our breathing becomes
shallow. The only time some people even try to take a deep
breath is when they are sick and at their doctor’s office.
By learning to breathe deeply we can help our bodies calm
down, focus, and clear blockages that sometime inhibit our
healing energies. Through time many, many people have used
breath work to help free their mind through meditation, or to
relieve their stress with Biofeedback, or to help with their
posture using Yoga or Tai Chi.
Let It Go… Let It Flow… is very important to remember when
doing breath work. Let go of negative energies like an ocean
wave flowing away from the body. Let the positive healing
energies float within.
