Tip Of The Month

What’s Age Got To Do With It?
Getting older is not much fun and who says we have to act our age as we get older?

If I’m only as old as I feel, then I feel 37. At least that was my last Wii age. Go ahead and laugh. That’s okay. I’m laughing too.

Why do I have to act my age? I just turned 52. But how is a 52 year old supposed to act? I already have graying salt and pepper hair and have had for two years now. And I love it. Tony and I are excited about going to a Flight-deck simulator and doing a real simulated jet airplane dog fight. We can’t wait. We are also just getting back into some great rock concerts. The likes of David Gilmour, Sting, The Eagles, and others. A lot of those guys look old but they sure can play.

It appears to me that age isn’t a death sentence but an attitude.

So I’ve decided to age gracefully and with gratitude. A dear friend of mine gave me a Christmas gift that is a book of “Wise Women” I was so touched that I cried. She didn’t say I am old. She said I am wise. What an incredible compliment. It made me feel great. I can’t wait to read the book.

I’ve decided there’s too much to do besides growing old. I still plan to further my education in my field of endeavor as I love learning new state of the art techniques to better my profession and bring better services to my clients.

We still have a lot of fun places to go to and experience. So I choose to be a Happy, Loving, Wise woman who loves her Wii age of 37. And I plan to keep laughing and to take the best care of myself everyday.

What’s age got to do with it anyway?
