Procrastination...Why Do It Now?
Remember the end of last year when you sat down and decided what your goals for this year were going to be?

Well, it’s time for a major check up.

Some of us, the slackers, even waited until the beginning of this year to set their goals. And then there are those like myself that come up with a mantra for each year. Last year was “I feel great in 08”. This year’s was “I feel fine in 09”.

OK, the intention was good. It’s a start, right? Then life goes back to a stressful state and we begin to put off our “check off” list of goals. Now it’s almost six months into the new year. How are you doing with your goals?

Here’s an idea.  Instead of your old way of thinking like “why do it now”, how about changing that thinking to “why not do it now”.

I personally have always felt that I work well under pressure. “It keeps me focused”. It gets my adrenaline pumping. And procrastinating stresses out my husband. What we all need is to stay as stress free as possible. So I will try...no, not try, I will do what I can to not wait.  What a concept!

Then I can experience the thrill of victory and hear my husband say “another job well done”. How cool is that?
