Tip Of
The Month
Go USA!
Have you been watching the 2010 Winter Olympics? Tony and I
have really enjoyed watching them. There have been some
stressful times but all in all it’s all been good.
These athletes from all over the world are so inspirational.
But I’d like to give you a different perspective on the
Olympics. One that I hope you will find interesting.
Try looking at the events from a symbolic level. The sense of
pride that we feel when one of our athletes wins a medal. You
may not realize it but it’s affecting your body in the Root
Chakra. Your Root Chakra has to do with team or tribal energy.
Your energy is intensified when someone from your family,
tribe, or even your team does well. Unfortunately it can have
an adverse affect if they do poorly. The fact that the U.S.A.
team is doing really well is terrific.
Another example might be stimulating the Heart Chakra. This
happens when one of our athletes stands on the podium and
receives a medal and places a hand over their heart as our
national anthem is being played. Even setting in the comfort
of our own living rooms we feel emotions that are quite
strong.
Some of the human interest stories are quite moving too. What
I have found interesting is not only are these stories
inspiring but the emotions we feel are not just for our own
athletes but for the other athletes as well. These emotions
can stir our Third Chakra. Our solar plexus, which can affect
our own power or empowerment. For instance, if that person can
overcome all those odds or recover from all those injuries
then what can I do?
Sometimes looking at situations from a symbolic level can give
us more insight than looking directly at a problem and trying
to solve it. Kind of like not being able to see the forest for
the trees.
What I’m trying to say is believe in yourself. Be the best you
can be or do the best you can do for the team (your family).
Really focus on the feeling you get when you do accomplish the
goal at hand. Doesn’t it feel great! Own that feeling, really
feel it. It will do your body good.

Tana
