Send Out The
Clown
How have you been treating yourself lately? Have you ever
thought of embracing your inner child and releasing your inner
clown? With all of the madness and confusion going on in the
world today are you taking care of that vulnerable internal
part of yourself? Are you giving yourself those much needed
inner hugs? No matter what goes on in that crazy outside
world, you need to maintain faith and love for yourself. So
start each day with a hug for yourself. It feels good! After
all, your body really does a lot for you. The least you can do
for your body is to show your self love by giving yourself a
hug and a smile. Try it! Each day it will get easier. Show
your inner child that you really care.
Equally important is releasing your inner clown. Sounds crazy
doesn’t it. It’s actually a lot of fun. We don’t have to be
serious all the time. When was the last time you made yourself
or someone else laugh? My Godmother taught me that to stay
young you have to laugh a lot. She always made everything fun.
When you do laugh (even at yourself) you produce endorphins
which our bodies use to fight pain and stress. It also helps
to relax the muscles in your body and face. I’m sure you’ve
heard that it takes less muscles to smile than to frown. Well,
it’s true.
Have you ever known someone who could smile and light up the
whole room? Well think about it. Why couldn’t that person be
you?
We all have choices. You have to choose to love yourself and
your inner clown.
So, SEND OUT THE CLOWN!!
