Relaxation 101
Do you find yourself overly stressed at times? Having trouble learning how to unwind? No time or no energy to relax sounds crazy doesn’t it? Millions of people are stressed to the max and have no idea how tightly they are wrapped up in all the craziness of living.

Whether it’s bad stress like a divorce, bills, or the day to day frustrations of life, or good stress like getting married, having a baby, or relocating the place where you live, your body doesn’t discern if it’s bad stress or good stress. So here are a few tips to take the guess work out of distressing.

Talk to someone. Sharing your stress can lighten your load.

Journaling. Get it out of your brain any way you can and let go.

Take a walk. Better yet take a loved one with you. You’re dog will enjoy the change
of scenery too!

Pet your pet. Studies show that loving a pet will reduce your blood pressure.

Read a funny book. Laughter is healing. And share your funny book with a friend.

Take a relaxing bath. Remember a shower is for cleansing your body and a warm candle lit bath is for cleansing your soul.

Take care of yourself. If you don’t, who will?
